Atlanta.  It was the best of times.  But mostly, it was the worst of times.  It’s hot, sticky and such an eclectic mix of strip clubs – black booty clubs on every corner and upscale gentlemen clubs in between.  In fact, there are so many that it’s common to see an attractive girl and almost bet your rent money that she’s at least a part-time entertainer.  I had to get in where I fit in, which is to say nowhere.  But I had to learn that the hard way.

  1. I love Atlanta in the spring, fall, and winter, but summer sucks sweaty monkey balls! But if you decide to move here, I think you’d enjoy it. Of course, FL was insanely way too hot and gross for me.

    1. Thanks Poly! I live here now and, wow, this summer was definitely ‘insanely hot’. I’m chronicling the last 12 years or so of my life so it’s kind of almost told as flashbacks. Sometimes it might seem like I’m coming out of left field when I start talking about a wayback flashback from childhood, but I always try to relate it to present-day situations as well. Does that make sense, lol?
